2003 Summernationals! "What a weekend"
I truly believe it would be hard to better the Live Bands onstage at this
year's Nationals especially from my own personal point of view with regard
to ' Status Clone'. No doubt there will be some who will disagree and you
can't please everyone, but to say the very least the Marquee was filled to
capacity & enthusiastic Quo fans spilled out onto the main field. Believe
me there is no stronger critic than I where Quo tribute bands are concerned,
as it is widely known I am indeed a fan of many years & expect the best if
anyone tries to emulate their driving music. As far as I'm concerned these
guys were tops and note for note perfect. It is no secret that Pam & I are
setting up an: 'EventsCompany' of our own after completing our final term
with the club & will be staging at least four new events at Billing, I can
promise these guys will be on our list for 2004.
